Deals – Add Arrangements to A Deal

To see how to include additional arrangements when creating a Deal, please refer to the article “Deals – Add a Deal.”

If you need to edit an existing Deal by adding more arrangements, navigate to the Deals list and open the deal you wish to edit. On the Deal page, you will find the Arrangements section:

Click “ADD NEW” and follow the same steps as in the deal creation process. This involves selecting a start and end date for the search and then choosing the product you wish to add as a new arrangement to the existing Deal.

Please note that for products with multi-language texts, the system will add the text in the Deal’s language. In case there is no text in that language, then it will use the text in the tenant’s main language (Settings / General).

Booking Package Products

When booking package products , a dedicated window will appear to select the supplements in the package. This window allows the following settings:

  • checking/unchecking “Print” and “Include in Total”
  • selecting optional supplements to be added to the deal
  • setting dates for supplements with dynamic dates
  • removing supplements with errors such as having no available prices for the selected period

In case of products with multiple prices available for the respective period, their applied price can be selected by clicking them, then selecting the new price on the right side of the window. A filter is also available for easily searching prices in case a product has various rates.

Changing a Deal’s Start Date

Your Deal’s Arrangements determine the deal’s Start and End date.

  • Start Date: the Arrangement with the earliest starting date
  • End Date: the Arrangement with the latest end date

If you wish to change a Deal’s Start Date all at once, navigate to the Deal Information section in Deal Details. Click on the calendar icon and select the new starting date:

Then click on “Done”. Two messages will appear on screen to confirm the change and review season prices if needed.

Supplier Assignment on Product Booking

If the product price had a supplier assigned at the time of its booking, then that supplier is also assigned to the Arrangement.

In case there is no supplier set on the price level, the system checks whether there is a Supplier set on the product level. If there is a single supplier on the product level, then this supplier will also be assigned to the arrangement upon booking. However, if there are two or more supplier, none will be assigned to the arrangement.

Charge by Grace Period For Car Rental And Similar Arrangements

The Grace Period field is used to rent vehicles for 24 hours or less without charging the arrangement price for two days. The Grace Period field from the arrangement’s details must be checked True to set this up, and the arrangement also needs the Begin and End Time so the system can calculate whether the arrangement is booked for less than 24 hours.

In the examples below the Car Rental arrangement is added with the Quantity of 1 even though it looks booked for two days.

Arrangement Warnings Set Through Price Rule #34 Warning Rule

If a Product has a Warning Rule set on its price, upon booking the product the warning is displayed through an overlay window that has to be Acknowledged. The warning is also visible next to an exclamation mark icon, and in the Arrangement Details.

Searching in the Arrangements Listing by Booking Codes

Search arrangements using multiple booking codes in the advanced search filters section. To do so, navigate to the Arrangements listing under the “Deals” section in the left menu. Click on the downward arrow at the end of the search box to open the advanced search filters. Add the booking codes with commas after each code. The “A” button at the end of the field is used to search for approximate or exact matches.

  • Approximate matches: Can search for multiple bookings that start with a specific code. For example, adding the code “B-DB2” will display all deals that start with that sequence.
  • Exact matches: The search will display the bookings with the exact match to the codes provided.
